Regulations, Conduct and safety

The members are strongly advised to take care of the following regulations governing the use of information resources. Access to all library and information services is dependent on compliance with the stated regulations.
1. Observe silence in the library premises and comply with the requirement of the designated area for Silent Study and quite Group Study.
2. Talking on cell phones in side the library premises is highly discouraged. All mobile phones should either be switched off or switched to silent mode.
3. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Consumption of soft, hot or cold drinks is not permitted inside the reading units. However you may carry bottled water.
4. The Information and library Unit reserves the right to check bags, poly bags etc being taken through the exists if our staff has reasonable grounds to suspect an infringement. Users are requested to keep all their personal belongings near the exit gate counter.
5. No property facilitating the users should be damaged in any way. You will be required to pay for any kind of damage.
6. Any accidents or hazardous situation like fire, electric short circuit etc should be reported immediately to the staff.

Reference Hours

We encourage all members of the university campus to take advantages of the resources the library has to offer. Check the following opening hours;
Monday to Friday- 9 am to 6 pm
First and Third Saturdays - 9am to 2pm
Sundays - closed
Semester Break - 9am to 5 pm

Donate Books and Learning Material

The campus library and information unit welcomes gifts of books and other learning resources that extend and compliment our existing collections. The gifts of books and other materials have helped strengthen our collection through the years ever since the inception of the library. Some of the libraries collection began with donations from individuals. Due to high cost of processing and storage we shall make every efforts to accept only appropriate and relevant items in our subject areas.
